Last week I was kindly invited along to another Lipsy London Launch event. The girly brand is one of the go-to destinations for pretty party dresses and always puts on a great evening to showcase the new seasons collections. As we sipped our Pimms and Mojitos we noticed that the venue was not just filled with dresses, but steel heels, silver suit trousers and feather style fur coats. The brand has branched out hugely and in my opinion gotten 'cooler'. The cobalt blue heels are part of their new range designed by Kurt Geiger (note the Lipsy logo underneath) and were in soft suede with gunmetal steel heels. I spent some time drooling over the statement chokers and acrylic studded cuffs that are part of the new jewelry line. The pretty dresses were still in the line but with an edgier feel - leather look detail, velvet bustiers, gothic black feather skirts. I finished the evening with a few more cocktails and a stop of at the crepe and nail bars. A fabulous evening and a fabulous Autumn Collection - landing in stores and online soon.
